World's First Laser Ignition Device
Fuel changes the taste. Flames blow out in the wind. Disposables pile up.
The Problem With Butane
Traditional lighters were built for convenience, not quality. They rely on butane fuel, which alters taste, leaves residue, and runs out quickly.
Flames blow out in the wind, and cheap plastic lighters end up in the trash after a few uses.
You deserve better than bad taste, wasted money, and outdated design.

Learn More About Hitoki
What exactly is the Trident and how does it work?
The Trident is a laser-ignition desktop device designed for use with natural material. Instead of burning fuel, it uses focused light inside a shielded chamber. No butane, no flame, for precise, consistent ignition at the press of a button.
How is it different from a torch or vaporizer?
Torches burn fuel; vaporizers heat air or a coil. The Trident V3 uses focused light for ignition—no butane taste, no open flame, and highly repeatable performance.
Do I need anything else to use the Trident?
No. The Trident is a self-contained desktop unit with its own magnetic glass water base and hose. You don’t need outside glassware to use it. For upkeep, we recommend our Hitoki Cleaning Kit (sold separately) for quick, consistent maintenance.
What’s included with the Trident?

What are the technical specs?
Ignition: 445 nm focused lasser Battery: 300+ ignitions per charge, USB-C, pass-through charging Charge time: ~90 minutes Materials: Aluminum, glass, silicone Design: Magnetic water base, desktop footprint Safety: Shielded chamber, lockouts, auto time-out
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
Expect 300+ ignitions per charge. Recharge via USB-C in about 90 minutes. Pass-through charging lets you use it while plugged in.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Detach the magnetic glass base, rinse/soak with isopropyl alcohol, then rinse with warm water. Wipe the exterior and reassemble. Most users do a light weekly clean. The Hitoki Cleaning Kit (sold separately) makes upkeep even faster.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. The laser ignition isn’t affected by wind, making it reliable on patios, decks, and breezy days. Just avoid exposing the exterior to rain, as water can damage the device.
What’s the warranty and return policy?
